Ralph Davies International Gains Refresco Tanker Juice Contract

The tanker division of Ralph Davies, RDI Liquid Logistics, was recently appointed as joint supplier on a 2 year contract of fruit juice tanker work from Europe to the Bridgewater packing plant of Refresco. This follows RDI’s investment in a new fleet of light weight VanHool tankers with greater payload capacity.

“We are building a close working relationship with RDI because we appreciate their innovative approach – these new tankers will give us payloads of over 30 tonnes, and thus fewer trips from our suppliers in Europe, which not only saves us money, but also reduces food miles and carbon footprint, which is important to Refresco.

We have already had RDI’s successful input on a number of other transformative logistics projects which we fully intend to exploit moving ahead to the benefit of our customers and Refresco, in terms of quality, predictability, speed and cost.”
