Ralph Davies International, the pioneering transport business founded in 1969, has made a move from its Cheltenham base to a modern warehousing facility just off junction 6 of the M5 in Worcester. RDI joins household names such as Worcester Bosch, Sainsburys, CEVA Logistics and Plumb Centre on the centrally located Warndon site which has great motorway links and provides national coverage.
RDI, taken over by the former management team of Atchison Topeka, have chosen the site due to the proximity to the motorway network that will support the Food Ingredients and Bulk Tanker networks that the business is developing.
CEO Mike Phillips commented
“The Warndon site offers an ideal location right on the motorway network and investment in the new Hub will significantly increase our capacity to distribute safely food ingredients to manufacturers across the UK.”
The Worcester site includes a modern food grade warehouse, but also the capability to offer a food tanker wash facility.
